engreads

About this directory

Engreads is a curated, visual directory of individual engineering leaders who write publicly about leading technical teams — engineering managers, directors, VPs, CTOs, and staff-plus engineers. It's intentionally about people and their personal blogs, not company engineering blogs or newsletters.

What's the bar?

A real person, a personal blog (not a company blog or a paywalled newsletter), with writing that touches engineering leadership, careers, craft, or the technical judgment that senior roles depend on. Curation is opinionated on purpose — that's the point of a guide. There are currently 100 blogs.

How it stays fresh

Links are checked and screenshots are re-captured on a schedule; dead or moved sites get flagged for review rather than silently dropped. The homepage feed gathers recent posts from each blog's public RSS feed. Screenshots are thumbnails of each site's homepage and all content belongs to the respective authors — this directory only links out.
